The Central Virginia Foodbank provides emergency food assistance to more than 193,000 hungry people each month. Each year, we distribute more than 12 million pounds of donated food and grocery products to children, families and frail adults in need in 31 counties and 5 cities in Central Virginia.

Financial gifts to CVFB are used to distribute food to people in need of emergency food assistance.  Please join us to support the many hard working people right here in Virginia who just can’t make ends meet.   • If you are a Virginia state government employee, use code 3883 for the Combined Virginia Campaign
  • If you are a Federal government employee, use code 9008
  • If you are a local government or school employee, use code 111
  • All other contributions through the United Way, use Central Virginia Foodbank-Agency 3051
